About me

My journey to become a life-long learner...

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida who studied Digital Media specializing in Web Design. When I'm not studying or working, you can find me reading a book or picking up a personal project (much like this website). I've always had a love for visuals, specifically photography. I would spend hours manipulating my photos in Photoshop, whether that be retouching or a fun edit.

My experience furthered in college after taking classes in Photoshop, photography, video, scripting, and more. I grew passionate about web design when I took my first coding class: client-side scripting. JavaScript challenged me and was very rewarding when I finally figured out why my project wasn't working after hours of staring at the screen.

Later, I would grow my skills in my field through more UCF coursework. I'm thrilled to say that I was the Project Manager for my user-centered design team, where we designed a language application to suit our interests. Additionally, I dove into React and React Native for my mobile development class with small projects like my workout and book-tracking applications.

In the summer of 2023, I interned at Universal Orlando Resorts as an email developer to grow my experience in my field. I learned how to build, test, and deploy emails using Salesforce. I also acquired general business knowledge about the company and learned about direct digital marketing strategies.

In the fall of 2023, I extended my time with Universal as a Digital Project Management Intern on the Campaign Scrum Team. This role allowed me to lean into the business side of the Marketing and Digital & Technology departments by managing web, app, and email tactics.  This position felt like home, and I instantly knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my career. I loved the balance of managing timelines and people while creating a new product every time.

In the spring of 2024, I accepted an internship at Net Conversion. I supported many teams as I was eager to learn more. I primarily assisted the SEO team by creating site audits, optimizing partner websites, and conducting keyword research on large clients such as The Venetian Resort, Advent Health University, and Aeroflow. Other tasks included supporting the Implementation team, the Development team, and the Advanced Analytics team by troubleshooting data quality issues, managing developers, and learning Google Tag Manager.

After graduation, I happily accepted a full-time position at Universal Orlando Resort to continue my passion for project management. There, I am working on projects for Epic Universe and their website updates and audits. I am thrilled to continue my career at Universal as I continue to hone my project management skills.
